"Simple, Low Cost Construction Leads to Excellent Clarification with No Flocculent Requirements"
The ash dewatering and water clarification system is individually designed to suit the overall boiler and scrubber water requirements.
Typically, effluent from the scrubber and boiler launders will flow to the clarifier via a network of pipes and concrete sloping trenches below the ground floor.
Once the liquid and solid separation has taken place, clean clarified water is then returned to the closed system via pumps. Water makeup is considered to balance out the evaporation rate. The clarifiers basins can be either mounted below or above the ground surface and constructed of reinforced concrete. The conveying ramp section and distributions are made of stainless steel. The conveyor comprises of chain fitted with slats driven by shaft mounted planetary reducers and motors.
